Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all donations and contributions made to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Shiksha Saksharta Mission (ABVSSM) through our website https://abvssm.com.
ABVSSM is a non-profit, charitable trust registered under applicable Indian law. Funds received through the website are used exclusively for educational upliftment, literacy programs, student sponsorships, and other social initiatives as per the trust’s objectives.

2. Donations – Non-Refundable

• All donations made voluntarily through our online payment gateway are non-refundable.
• Once a donation is processed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred to another cause or person.
• Please double-check all details (amount, personal information, payment method) before completing your donation.

3. Exceptions (Duplicate / Error Payments)

We understand that errors can occasionally occur. Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

• Duplicate Payment: If you accidentally make the same payment twice for the same purpose.
• Technical Error: If your card/bank account was charged but the transaction failed or the receipt was not generated.
• Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transaction: If a transaction was made without your consent or knowledge (after verification).

In such cases, please email us within 7 working days of the transaction with proof of payment and details of the issue.

After verifying the details, if a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7–14 business days via the same payment method used for the transaction.

4. Event / Course Fee Refunds (if applicable)

In the event that ABVSSM offers paid workshops, courses, or training sessions:

• Cancellations made by the participant less than 48 hours before the start of the event will not be eligible for refund.
• If the event or session is cancelled or postponed by ABVSSM, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to attend a future session.
• Refunds for such cases will be initiated within 10 working days after confirmation.

5. Returns

As ABVSSM primarily deals with charitable donations and digital educational services, there are no physical goods or items for return.
Hence, a “return policy” does not apply. However, for any merchandise or materials provided as part of campaigns (t-shirts, certificates, etc.), we will replace defective or damaged items at our discretion if reported within 7 days of receipt.

6. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring (monthly/annual) donation, you can cancel it anytime by contacting us via email.
Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle. Amounts already charged will not be refunded.

7. Mode of Refund (when applicable)

Approved refunds will be credited via:

• The same payment method used for the original transaction, or
• Bank transfer (if payment gateway reversal is not possible).
  You may be asked to provide bank details (account number, IFSC code) for verification.
